Flat Cut Metal Letter Signs
Metal letters are both durable and long lasting sign products. Flat cut metal letters are fabricated out of sheets of either aluminum, stainless steel, bronze, brass, or copper. These metals come in varying thicknesses, so there are countless of possibilities to choose from. Here at Logo Sign Shop, we use metal letters for almost any application, for example, monument signs, building signs, office signs, and so much more.
Metal letters, as well as acrylic letters and cast metal letters are classified as dimensional letters. Ideal for both interior and exterior applications, we can custom cut your metal sign to any shape and size and with any font or letter style. You can even choose from custom metal finishes or any PMS color to match your logo and identity. Not to mention, our flat cut metal letters and logos are router cut on automated CNC router machines or water jet machines for maximum precision.
Whatever your application may be, let Logo Sign Shop help you both design and fabricate your metal sign. We install flat cut metal letters and logos all over the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, but if you are located outside of DFW, we ship nationwide! Call us at (972) 247-1707 or request a quote online for your metal letters today!

Metal Letter Sign Installation
When it comes to installing flat cut metal letters, certain installation methods are more suitable for certain applications. The installation method will depend on the installation location and the wall finish as well as the geometry and the size of the letters and logo. Here at Logo Sign Shop, our professionals install metal signs either individually or on a backplate, or flat or spaced from the wall.
Backplate vs. Individually Installed
When it comes to installing your metal sign, we will either install your letters and logo pieces individually to the wall or on a backplate. A backplate is an acrylic or aluminum backing where we mount individual sign pieces. For textured wall finishes and uneven surfaces, such as stone, stucco, or three dimensional wall panels, we recommend installing metal letters to a backplate before installing the sign to the wall. Either installation method adds an elegant and professional touch to your business identity.
Installed Flat vs. Spaced
We install flat cut metal letters either flat to the wall or backplate or with 1/2 inch spacers for added dimension. The space between the wall and the back of the letters causes any lighting in the room to create a shadow on the wall. With this installation method, metal signs have a more three dimensional look than letters and logos which we install flat on the wall.
