Request to Take Down a Sign

When a removal of sign is needed, we will take care of this service for you. We take down building signs, office signs, pole,  monument signs and parking lot signs. Let us know what sign you need to remove.

Wheather you need the sign to be taken down and dispossed, or put the sign in storage for a future store or need to be moved to another location, we are able to provide the service you need.

We are ready the day you need the sign taken down. Give us a few days to schedule your sign removal!

Let us know all the signs with your store name in the property, for example directional signs, pole or monument panel signs. Some requests require the tenant pole sign or tenant monument sign panels also to be cleaned. Please make sure you have this information in case we need to take care of a new panel replacement, or cleaned, blocked out or just turn the acrylic inside out.

The price for a removal depends on the circumstances such as distance from our shop, sign location, size and weight, type of sign, or if it is illuminated or not illuminated.

Location: This refers to the distance from our shop to your store. We normally service a radious of 20 miles from our shop for an entrance service call fee. If your store is located near a close highway where it makes it convenient on time to reach you, your service will be considered under the initial service call  fee.

Sign Location: This refers to the height of your sign from the ground and the reachability to access the sign. For example the sign is above and close to a canopy or behind a tree, close to power lines or some other location circumstances that make difficult to reach your sign. That is why we request to provide a picture of your sign from the ground when you send us an email.

Size and weight: Some signs are old and are made with steel instead of aluminum, aluminum material is lightweight compared to steel. Some stores have large signs with multiple pieces and we need to calculate the size and the equipment that we need to remove your sign(s).

Type: This refers to the shape and number of pieces on a sign. If the sign is a one piece cabinet or if you have individual letters installed directly attached to the wall. In some cases, letters are individually fabricated but are mounted to a backplate or a common raceway. A one piece sign makes the job easier than multiple pieces specially when the sign is illuminated.

Lighted or not illuminated: A sign that is not illuminated will be less expensive to remove.

Our policy is to weather proof all holes and cap electricity.  Paint is not included on a take down service. Painting a wall is a complete separate service.
